The City of Union operates government access television available to Charter cable customers on digital channel 993 or Charter Cable channel 117.3. 

The FCC has defined government access channels as "intended for use by local governmental bodies for informing the public about what is happening in government".

The purpose of the Government Access Channel is to increase residents’ access to local government meetings and information.  Only meetings, programs and events sponsored by the City of Union, as well as public service announcements are promoted on this channel.

Regular Board of Aldermen meetings are broadcast live the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm.

UnionTV is offered on Charter Cable Channel 117.3 or through Charter Digital Channel 993.

UnionTV provides the citizens of Union with television coverage of regular Board of Aldermen meetings as well as announcements of special government meetings, parks & recreation programs and other important and relevant information.
