Parks & Recreation Feb. 6, 2012 Jr. Tae Kwon Do ages 4-6, From 6:00 to 6:45pm the cost is $50.00 for a ten week session. Tae Kwon Do ages 7 and up, from 6:00 to 8:00pm the cost is $75.00. Held at the Union City Auditorium, please pre-register at the park office. Feb. 7, 2012 Cardio Fitness on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 6:30 to 7:15pm held in the lower level of City Hall. The cost is $45.00 or once a week for $25.00. No prior experience required. Please pre-register at the park office. Feb. 8, 2012 Yoga on Wednesday’s held at ECC Continuing Ed Building, rm. 114. The time is 6:30 to 7:30pm for the cost of $45.00 for six week session. No prior experience required, please bring your own mat. Please pre-register at the park office. Feb. 9, 2012 Yoga on Thursday’s held at ECC Continuing Ed Building, rm. 114. The time is 6:30 to 7:30pm for the cost of $45.00 for six week session. No prior experience required, please bring your own mat. Please pre-register at the park office. Feb. 17, 2012 Bowhunter Education Certification Course held at the Union Fire House #1 from 6:00 to 9:30pm. Feb. 18, 2012 the time is 8:00am. To 5:00pm. You must attend both days in order to be certified. You must be 11 years of age to register and students 15 and younger must bring birth certificate or proof of age. Students under the age of 13 must have an adult attend the course with them. There will be some outdoor activities included, so please bring appropriate clothing to the course on Saturday. The cost is $3.00 per person which needs to be paid at the park office. You will need to pre-register online at: http://mdc.mo.gov/hunt/huntered/ Union Girls Softball signups: Feb. 4, 11th from 11 am to 2 pm. Feb. 22, the time is 5 to 7 pm. Lower level of the Union American Legion, the cost is as follows: $65 for one child, $115 for two children and $165 for three or more. You may also register at the Union Park office. The deadline is March 2, 2012. Union Babe Ruth Signups: The dates are Jan. 28 and Feb. 4, 11, and 18 at Union Hardees from 9am to 2pm. The cost is $45.00 for T-Ball age 4 only, $75 for one child, $150 for two children, $175 for three children and $190 for 4 or more children. March 6, 2012 Dog Obedience: Basic is at 6:00pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday at 6:15pm, the cost is $79.00 for 7 week session. Intermediate is on Tuesday’s at 7:15pm, the fee is also $79.00. Advance classes are on Wednesday’s at 7:15pm, also $79.00 for the 7 week course. You must have passed Obedience class to take Intermediate. Please pre-register at the park office. March 14, 15, 16, 2012 Hunter’s Education: Held at the Union Fire House #1, must be 11 or older to attend. The cost is $3.00 per person and you must register online at http://mdc.mo.gov/hunt/huntered/ then make payment at the Union Parks Department.
