Earth
Day
2007

Union joined the international
celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd. About 95 people came to
help the Parks Department clean up over a mile of Flat Creek, which runs
through City Park. Participants removed literally tons of trash from the
creek starting at the Sports Complex through to the Fair Grounds. Big
thanks to the people who helped! D’Angelos, Abundant Life Church, the
Park board, Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts, and many private citizens. We made a
difference! |
