The Center, located in east Union, saw the addition of eight businesses with a potential investment totaling 46.2 million dollars with estimated job growth of nearly 100 employees.  The Union Development Corporation welcomes the following new businesses to the Union Corporate Center:  EMJ Metals, Huellinghoff Trucking, Hartog Oil Company, and Select Powder Coating, as well as Volpi Foods who will be beginning construction of a new facility later this year.  Aspire Machine Tool purchased land for a future expansion and Bugeye Technologies purchased an existing building at the Center.  Additionally, RV Wagner  recently purchased property for a proposed build-to-suit project.

The Union Corporate Center, with its Missouri Certified Site, made expansion attractive for many of the companies. A Missouri Certified Site is a parcel 10 acres or more in size that met the standards for business recruitment or business expansion set by the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

"When it comes to supporting business development, prepared communities win”, says Mike Kearney, Ameren’s Director of Economic Development. “The Union Development Corporation is a leader in Missouri's Certified Site Program. The Union Corporate Center is a shovel ready site for new construction and is prepared to help companies meet changing market opportunities."

Currently twenty four companies are located at the Union Corporate Center and employ approximately 450 employees. Since 2008, thirteen businesses invested more than $54 million dollars in new or expanded facilities at the Center.
