Founder's Day Festival: June 2, 2018 -- First Saturday in June from 7:30-midnight. A celebration in the main park featuring a fun 5k/10k run/walk, craft booths, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, children's activities/games, food/beverages and music. Music entertainment will last until midnight.

2018 Ticket Consignment Program -- This amusement park program is made available to Union Parks & Recreation Department (UPRD) through the Missouri Parks and Recreation Association (MPRA). Discounted tickets must be purchased at the UPRD Office during normal hours of operation. For ticket availability, please call the office at 636.583.8471.

Lawn Chair Movie Nights -- Free family movies series, shown on the third Friday evening of the month at the City Park, in grass area west of the large pavilion. All friends of the community are invited. All you have to do is bring a lawn chair and a blanket. Coolers and food are welcome. All shows will start at approximately at dark. Movies are subject to change due to availability of the movie.
East Central College is the co-host for the events. To celebrate the 50th anniversary, ECC will provide pre-movie activities about an hour before each movie starts. Be sure to come out to help us celebrate!

Concert in the Park -- Free concerts series, performed on the first Friday evening of the month at the large pavilion at City Park. Come enjoy a variety of music. The selected band for the evening will play from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Coolers and food are welcome.
May 4, 2018: Crossfire, June 1, 2018: Texas Giants, July 6, 2018: Pocket Change, August 3, 2018: Pik'n Lik'n and the last concert will be September 7, 2018 with Fanfare Entertainment.

Doggie Day at the Pool: August 14, 2018 -- Time: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Place: Splash-n-Swimplex, Fee: $4/pup
Dog days of summer getting you down? Bring man’s best friend and come cool off in our beautiful pool. Owners are responsible for cleaning up any accidents. Dogs must be accompanied by an adult. You may use your punch card for this event. More information to follow at a later date for 2018 season.
Halloween Bash: October 2018 -- Held at the Large Pavilion in the main park. For kids age 10 and under, the costume contest will start around 6:00pm. Spooky hay rides, refreshments and a lot more. More information to follow at a later date for the 2018 event.

Children's Christmas Party: December 2018 -- Held in the Union City Auditorium, for kids 10 & under. Doors open immediate following the parade, at approximately 6:30pm. Bring your family to this fun & free event! There will be refreshments, face painting, a balloon sculptor, picture's with Santa Claus (bring your own camera) and every child (10 & under) will receive a gift. Please bring food to help stock the food pantry for the holiday's. More information to follow at a later date for the 2018 event.

Valentines Dinner & Comedy Show: February 2019 -- Join us for the 17th annual event that is sure to have a lot of laughs! Comedians TBA. This adult-only event will be held at Union City Auditorium with doors opening at 6pm. Tickets include dinner, comedy show, rose (for the ladies) and dance. Cash bar will be available, no outside beverages allowed. More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 event.
