2018 Ticket Consignment Program -- This amusement park program is made available to Union Parks & Recreation Department (UPRD) through the Missouri Parks and Recreation Association (MPRA). Discounted tickets must be purchased at the UPRD Office during normal hours of operation. For ticket availability, please call the Park Office at 636.583.8471.

Last day of sales for the 2018 season will be 12/7/2018!!!

Silver Dollar City:
Adult One-Day (ages 12+) - $60.00
Child One-Day (ages 4-11) - $50.00
Adult Two-Day (ages 12+) - $65.00*
Child Two-Day (ages 4-11) - $55.00*

*Two-Day tickets are not sold at Silver Dollar City gates.


CATCH & RELEASE ONLY - Winter Trout Fishing Program: November 1, 2018 - January 31, 2019 -- Union’s City Lake, 502 Clark Avenue

Union City Lake angler regulations for specie with daily limit and length limit are as follows:
1) Largemouth Bass, daily limit: 2, length limit: 18” minimum
2) Catfish, daily limit: 4, length limit: none
3) Trout from November 1 – January 31 is CATCH & RELEASE ONLY; NO TROUT may be possessed!
4) Trout from February 1 – October 31, daily limit: 4, length limit: none
5) All other fish, daily limit: statewide, up to 10 in the aggregate, length limit: none

*November 1 through January 31 - only 1 pole/person; artificial flies and lures ONLY; no natural or prepared baits.
*February 1 through October 31 - maximum of 3 poles/person may be used; no restrictions on bait; must stop fishing for all species after having 4 trout in possession.
*Pole and line fishing only
*No live bait may be taken.
*Frogs may be taken during the statewide season by hand, handnet, gig, or hook and line.
*All anglers age 16 through 64 must have a permit.
*Anglers must have a trout permit to possess trout.

Children's Christmas Party: December 7, 2018
-- Held in the Union City Auditorium, for kids 10 & under. Doors open immediate following the parade, at approximately 6:30pm. Bring your family to this fun & free event! There will be refreshments, face painting, a balloon sculptor, picture's with Santa Claus (bring your own camera) and every child (10 & under) will receive a gift. Please bring a can food donation to help stock the food pantry for the holiday's.

holiday lights (2)Deck the Halls Contest: Ends December 13, 2018 -- Let’s celebrate the holidays with decorating the town thiswinter season! Enter your holly-jolly, bright & cheerie home,business or organization in the contest! Contest is free to enter, but must be within the city limits of Union and received by closeof business (4:30pm) on Wednesday, December 13.

There will be two categories: homes and businesses/organizations. Judging dates will be December 14-19; be sure to have lights on between 5pm-10pm each evening. Winners will be notified on December 21. Signs will be displayed in winning yards and announced online (addresses will not be shared) for bragging rights. Prizes include $50 for 1st place and $25 for 2nd place.

Valentines Dinner & Comedy Show: February 9, 2019
-- Join us for the 17th annual event that is sure to have a lot of laughs! Comedians TBA. This adult-only event will be held at Union City Auditorium with doors opening at 6pm. Tickets include dinner, comedy show, rose (for the ladies) and dance. Cash bar will be available, no outside beverages allowed. More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 event.

Rummage Sale: Late Winter/Spring 2019 -- at Union City Auditorium. More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 event.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny: April 2019 -- at City Park from 9am-11am. More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 event.

Founder's Day Festival: June 1, 2019 -- First Saturday in June from 7:30am-midnight. A celebration in the City Park, located at 500 W. Park Ave., featuring a fun 5k/10k run/walk, craft booths, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, children's activities/games, food/beverages and music. Music entertainment will last until midnight. More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 event.

Doggie Day at the Pool: August 2019 -- Time: 6:00 to 8:00pm, Place: Splash-n-Swimplex, Fee: $4/pup
Dog days of summer getting you down? Bring man’s best friend and come cool off in our beautiful pool. Owners are responsible for cleaning up any accidents (both liquid and solid). Dogs must be accompanied by an adult and keep collar or harness on at all times. Guests may use punch card for this event. More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 event.

Concert in the Park -- Free concerts series, performed on the first Friday evening of the month at the large pavilion at City Park. Come enjoy a variety of music. The selected band for the evening will play from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Coolers and food are welcome. More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 series.

Lawn Chair Movie Nights -- Free family movies series, shown on the third Friday evening of the month at the City Park, in grass area west of the large pavilion. All friends of the community are invited. All you have to do is bring a lawn chair and a blanket. Coolers and food are welcome. All shows will start at approximately at dark. Movies are subject to change due to availability of the movie. More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 series.

Vintage Base Ball -- Come out to witness base ball as it was in the 1860's. Two St. Louis vintage base ball teams will faceoff at this FREE community event. Concessions will be available for purchase. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the show! More information to follow at a later date for the 2019 event.

Boo Bash!: October 2019 -- Held at the Large Pavilion in the City Park, located at 575 North Christina Avenue. Join Union Parks & Recreation Department (UPRD) and Union Area Chamber of Commerce for the Annual Boo Bash! This is a free family community event. Children of all ages must be supervised by parent/guardian at all times.

The Chamber will host the Children's Costume Contest under the Large Pavilion, for kiddos ages 10 and under. Prizes are awarded to the following age categories: newborn-1, 2-4, 5-7, 8-10, and Group/Family. The more creative the better! Pre-registration is not required, just be under the pavilion no later then 6pm, because the contest will start promptly at 6:15pm. Stick around for UPRD's Trunk-or-Treat! Activities include trick-or-treating, hay rides and refreshments.
