Park Facilities

Union City Park is located at the corners of Christina and Park. There is a large playground, 4 swings, asphalt walk path that is lighted. There are two bridges, across one are the basketball courts and tennis courts. Across the other is the Rotary pavilion and small playground with swings and a slide. New workout equipment, and  handicap swings.

A handicap swing was added at the main Union City Park in 2009.  A key is necessary to operate the swing.

Please call the Parks Department at 636-583-8471 Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

Union City Lake

The lake is located on Clark Vitt Dr. It is a 3-acre stocked lake, perfect for fishing on a lazy afternoon. There is a asphalt walk way around the lake, swings, Garden Club pavilion, Fireman’s shelter and benches. There is a park across the street with restrooms and a playground.

Clark Vitt Park

Clark Vitt Park is located on Clark Vitt Dr. across from the City Lake. With a play structure and waking trails this park provides a great place to picnic, play and get some exercise. At the top of the walking trail will be a pavilion.


Hoffert Park

Hoffert Park is located on Hoffert Street. You take Kennedy from Hwy. 50, make your first right onto Betty, first left onto Hoffert, the park will be on your right. It has a new playground with swings, play equipment and a picnic area.

ClearView Park

With great views of the Bourbeuse River and walking trails through a secluded forest of 22.82 acres, Clearview Park is a City treasure. The park is located at the junction of Clearview and North Bend road.

College Hill Park

Located at the intersection of Prairie Dell and College Meadows Drive, this park was built in 2009.   Includes a play structure and small pavilion.

Veteran's Memorial Park

On July 1, 2013, a ground breaking ceremony was held for the new 43.8 acre multi-use park located off of Progress Parkway in east Union.  In Spring 2017, the new park was opened.  The park offers several playgrounds, baseball, softball, football, soccer and t-ball fields, family shelters, picnic areas, a fishing lake and a 1 mile loop walking trail.  In addition, a splash park is open seasonally.



 K-9 -n- Kiddos Park

Franklin County's first dog park is located off of North Christina Avenue, across from the tennis courts and adjacent to the sand volleyball courts.  It includes two separate fenced areas, one for large dogs (over 25 lbs) and another for small dogs.  Each parks has its own set of agility equipment, water spigots, drinking buckets and dog waste stations.  Rules for using the dog park are posted on the premises.  A children's playground is located next to the dog park.  The park was completed in 2013.
